The faceless watch

I had today’s Daily Photo post all planned out – it was going to be about the abuse my poor watch takes due to my need to constantly be fiddling with something. This subconscious habit had caused my watch face to become almost completely unhitched from the band, causing it to pop in and out. As I left work today I noticed how strange it looked, hanging on by a thread.

Then when I got home and went to take the photo, this was all that was left:

Not good, considering how obsessed with knowing what time it is I am. Pulling out my cell phone just takes way too much time and effort. Looks like I’ll be making an emergency run to Target tomorrow.

In the meantime, I wonder if my ring knows how much danger it is now in.
