To begin I’m going to borrow the opening line of one my sister’s emails to the family a few months ago: “Mom: Maybe you shouldn’t read this, but I didn’t want to leave you out.”
Today at work we were all still gossiping about yesterday’s earthquake. Then when we were leaving for the day we found the metro stop surrounded by police, caution tape, and what one of my co-workers swears was a chalk outline. We all thought shooting, but reports would later confirm it was a stabbing. Cause that makes us all feel so much better.
