And my TV replacement process is complete

I have not owned a television or paid for cable in about 6 years and yet I watch hours upon hours of TV whenever I want. This idea still makes me giddy with joy. The one tiny, tiny little flaw with this system has been my inability to watch sports. This isn’t a big deal since the only sports I would ever really want to watch at my house is Cardinals baseball, and now that I live in DC I wouldn’t be able to get most of the games anyway.

But since the Cardinals are in the World Series* YET AGAIN, it has quickly become a flaw of epic proportions. Until tonight. I decided I really wanted to watch the game from home and not pay $19.99 for the privilege of doing so. About five minutes of Googling revealed the solution that I had never even bothered to look for: Live streaming sports. For free. And now my transition from TV and Cable to Computer and Internet is complete!

Now how about a HELL YEAH for the Cardinals winning Game 1?!?

*While we’re talking about the World Series, let me just take a minute for those individuals like my roommate The Flying Crane who are a little fuzzy with their baseball knowledge and explain: The World Series is in fact the culmination of the entire season. It is not referring merely to another playoff series, it is the playoff series – as in, the set of games that decide what team is the World Champions of all of baseball. Glad I could clear that up for some of you.

You seem like senmooe who might be aware of a Cardinals Dishcloth pattern. Is there such an animal? Any info leading to a pattern would be much appreciated!
