My favorite Christmas tradition

Even though I love traditions, I really don’t need a lot for Christmas. Snow, stockings, a tree – I can do without all of these things. But there are two elements that are absolutely essential. There can be no negotiation on these two points. The first is family. The second is my Mom’s super special amazingly terrific made-from-scratch cinnamon rolls:

Even on the boat in the middle of the Bahamas, she made it happen. And blew my mind with the deliciousness for the 26th year in the row.

Don’t be confused by the single one on my plate. I had four.
